Girl Guitar Boot Camp Double Stop
Take your guitar playing beyond open chords with this Guitar Boot Camp focused on double stops, fretboard understanding, and practical music theory. In this class, you’ll learn how major and minor scales are constructed, how double stops are built from those scales, and how they allow you to add harmonized melodies in multiple places on the neck. Along the way, you’ll develop a stronger understanding of neck theory, making it easier to create smoother transitions and add more color and sophistication to your playing. This is a hands-on class designed to help intermediate guitarists unlock the fretboard and gain the confidence to play with greater creativity and freedom.

This is a ten-week class for women 21+ that meets at Girl Guitar on Wednesdays from 8:15-9:15 pm CT.

Prerequisites:
-A commitment to regular practice
-Knowledge of the note names on the low E string
